The Library currently hosts 2 Adult book groups (Brown Bag and Books and Books on Tap), 2 Teen book groups (Pages and Panels and Book Talk), and 2 Family book groups (My First Book Group and Chapter Chats).
Meetings are held at the library, except for Books on Tap which meets at Salt Hill Pub.
Books are on loan from neighboring NH libraries and are available at our front desk. It is NOT necessary to be a card holder to check out a book club book! Anyone may sign them out to participate.

My First Book Club
My First Book Group is for primary school-aged students. Join Ms. Mo on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 3:30pm. Enjoy a snack, walk through the pictures, read the book aloud together, and then read through silently or with your grownup before coming back together to talk about the book and enjoy some imaginative play.
Chapter Chats
In Chapter Chats we’ll read the first chapter of a short chapter book together and discuss it! Afterwards, families can sign out a copy to continue reading at home. We will ask silly questions and thoughtful ones, too! This group is for grades 2-5, depending on reading level. We’ll be reading books around the level of Magic Tree House and Charlotte’s Web. Please note, children under age 9 cannot be left alone in the library, so we are requesting parents stay and either participate or hang out nearby for both book groups.
Check out this list of all the books read by the RFL Book groups over the years!
