Access Ancestry.com at https://ancestrylibrary.com
There are a few difference between Ancestry.com (the at-home commercial version) and ALE:
- As there is only a single login for the entire town, it is not possible to customize it by adding family trees.
- It is possible to view other people’s trees.
- Users can print or save files or screenshots and build their trees on other free services.
- Patrons must use the site at the library.
- They may use a library computer or their own computer while on the library’s wireless network.
- ALE is the “global” version with the full record set.
