Free Access to Crafts Magazine

At Crafts magazine, their thoughts are with all readers and contributors at this challenging time. To help brighten up isolation, they’re offering you all free access to their digital edition for a month. You can dig into every issue from the magazine’s history – from the shiny latest editions to forgotten hits from the 1970s, 80s and 90s – to while away the hours and be inspired.

BOOK GROUP

We are going to have a Virtual Book Group Meeting on April 15th at 1:00. The book is The Mountains Sing by Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai. The book is available as an ebook or audiobook on hoopla. Just go to the hoopla Book Club Hub to read more about the book and download it. If you’re interested in attending, please email us at rfl@newport.lib.nh.us and we will send out an invitation to the JITSI meeting on April15th at 12:45.

What’s the hoopla?

hoopla is a groundbreaking digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV! Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. hoopla has hundreds of thousands of titles to choose from, with more being added daily. Five total eMedia checkouts per month (including eBooks, eAudiobooks, music and movies).

Click on the hoopla link on the side panel of Find Online. All you need is a valid email address and your library card number.
