Friday August 4th will be the last day to bring in book donations for the book sale. Please remember, no textbooks or encyclopedias and donations must be in good condition.

Everyone is welcome to join us for movie day today. We’ll be showing Shrek in the ballroom at 3pm today, Friday July 21st. Originally we intended this to be a teen-only showing, but due to the weather and some staffing constraints, we’ll be opening the movie up to everyone!
Due to the weather forecast for this afternoon, Ms. Mo will not be holding story time on the common during the Farmer’s Market. Thanks for understanding!
The Richards Free Library is hiring a high-school aged teen for a Library Page position. Our Pages work 9-12 hours a week during the school year and 15-19 hours a week during the summer. Their main responsibility is to shelve books, but they also help with numerous projects around the library. This position pays $9.75 an hour. Applicants must be at least 15 years old.

Sign up to attend the Christmas in July party at Newport Mcdonald’s on July 25th at 11 am. It’s the perfect chance to use your ice cream coupon from reading 10 days, and you can cool off from the summer heat with winter-time thoughts. We’ll decorate the tree, sing along with Christmas music, and kiddos who sign up may find a little special something under the tree! This program is for kids 12 and under, but the whole family is invited to come along!
