School Resource Officer Shawn Seymour brought Ebbi the Newport police comfort dog to the RFL for some special reading practice time with local kids this Monday. Children were excited to practice their reading skills by reading aloud to Ebbi. We had several dog, pet, or reading themed books available to read from, or the children could choose whatever they liked. Older children ended up reading to younger children as well as Ebbi, and it seemed like everyone had a good time. Thanks so much, Officer Seymour and Ebbi! We’re so lucky to have you!
