Our Commitment to Keeping You Safe
The Richards Free Library in an effort to mitigate the spread and transfer of viruses and bacteria has made the following adjustments:
- Increased the availability and visibility of our disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer.
- Increased disinfecting schedule in public areas.
- Removed all soft toys from the Children’s Room, and continue to regularly disinfect play space.
- Returned materials will be disinfected.
We will continue to monitor updates along with the Town Health Officer and remain committed to keeping our community happy and healthy, maintaining a safe space for all.
But we need your help!
When visiting the library, please use the hand sanitizer available at service desks and throughout the library.
Please
remember to wash your hands!
20 seconds at least is the rule. Soap up well and rinse well. Keeping your
hands clean means helping to keep library spaces and materials clean and safe
for all to use.
If you have library materials and are not feeling well, please give us a
call, we are happy to extend your due dates when possible!
At this time the library is not planning to cancel any programs, but we will
do our best to keep our website and
social media updated if there are any changes.
